For those of us who have given birth, we know how scary and pianful it is - can you imagine being alone?

I know, it prayed on my mind, too, all part of the horrors. Maybe the older children helped with the later births?

There were only 6 births though (one birth produced twins), but then one of them died. How awful must that have been??

I suspect that the older children helped with the births of the younger ones, but that in itself must have been terrifying for them - seeing their mum in pain and knowing they could not expect any help.

I'm getting more and more annoyed with how the father and his lawyer are coming out with such crap about his mental state and urges he couldn't control as if that excuses what he did. He knew it was wrong, he knew he was hurting and humiliating his daughter, yet he comes out with crap about protecting her from the world. I can't think that anything the world could have done to her would be worse that what he was doing.
