Presumably, companies can make unilateral decisions and continue their diversity programmes if they wish too?

If they can’t, then good. Hitting them where it hurts will focus their attention.

Not much of a bite back, is it? The billionaires aren't going to be weeping.

Won't people just put off their spending to a later date?
