Who on earth thought this was a good way to persuade 18 year olds to vote.....

On the day of the local elections, DD received a 'fake newspaper' mailshot with the headline 'UK awaits decision from [DD's name]'
Now, possibly an eight year old might have been excited by seeing her name in the headline of a 'newspaper' - the average 18 year old, I suspect would have reacted in the same way DD did.
"Patronising cr*p" she said, tossing it aside, "Wonder how much money they wasted on that"
I wonder too....

some mp's nephews brothers girlfriend got paid handsomely to come up with that fab piece of marketing - and you just pooh poohed it out of hand? shocking...

Well I had to go to vote in the local pub - Even though Ds's infant school, which is nearer to my house was closed used as a polling so maybe that would be a good incentive.
