She then asked Ribeiro-Addy if she could touch her braids, and did so before receiving a reply. The lady with the braids was a black lady what I don’t get is she’s only getting a three week suspension.
AS this is a racism, I’m not quite sure that whether it would be as Little punishment in the private sector
when you compare it to this peer, The committee also recommended suspending Lord Stone of Blackheath, a former Labour peer, for six months over bullying after calling security staff "thick" and "stupid".

I read that yesterday... bloody awful

To make it even worse, she had mixed him up with another South Asian in the HoL.

It was more than "a bit rude" to security guards. He was found to have broken the rules by leaving an unattended suitcase by an entrance, then refused to move it and bullied the staff. Furthermore, this was a second offence - he was found to have sexually harassed staff a few years ago.

Behaviour towards staff will, quite rightly, draw a more serious punishment than behaviour towards other peers due to the power imbalance.

In the private sector, she would be fired. She should be banned from the HoL and be stripped of her title.
