Disruption planned for Armistice Day events around UK

Just Stop Oil and pro-Palestine Youth Demand reportedly plan to disrupt Remembrance Day observance in five UK cities:

How disgusting that they will disrupt something that remembers the hundreds of thousands of men who died for our freedom.

That should nicely destroy any sympathy they might otherwise get

It's inconceivably disrespectful, if there's any truth in the report then hopefully any such plans are already thwarted.

The irony that if it wasn’t for the people who are remembered on Armistice Day, these fuckwits wouldn’t have any right to protest. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you!

Agree its dreadful. Where i live there are poppy sellers in the town centre, at entrances to supermarkets. Poppies have decorated lampposts for a few weeks now.

Visited Oxford yesterday- no sellers anywhere , barely any sign that it was coming up for remembrance Sunday or Nov 11th.
This wouldn't have been the case a few years back.

A relative that lives in another city has found the same and has had to order their poppy online.

I haven't heard of any chaotic swarms of activists anywhere today after all, wonder what happened?
