I keep seeing headlines saying its great..
But how I took it was that it will make homelessness worse?
Less private rental stock, increased rent, affordable homes rent increase, no housing benefit raise next year.
Just more stock of social homes, help to buy homes. (Which will take time)
So won't that leave a whole load of people who are single income working families/people, those stuck in private rents, or low income workers end up pushed into homelessness?
Reassure me I'm understanding it incorrectly 😅
