What happened to my original message? It seems to have got lost in cyberspace.

I posted about the fact that a local off licence has had a jar containing approx 250.00 for the tsunami victims stolen.

Well now I can agree with you all that this is disgraceful. But human nature is like this, alas - there are reports that lone women survivors in Sri Lanka, India and Indonesia have been robbed and raped by opportunist criminals, now they are no longer protected by their family circumstances.
Looters in the Blitz etc - however dire the situation, someone will always seek to profit .
