red cross and oxfam. school are doing non uniform day in aid of save the children. dh donated through paypal and is also doing charity auction through paypal to unicef

DEC 0800 60 60 900 .. covers a dozen UK charities (yes some are christian but it shouldn't matter .. its where the money goes that's important)

No it all goes in a big pot then goes wherever its needed .. that's why I like them

it covers Oxfam, Save the Children, Red Cross, Help the Aged and more

there's a website too if you prefer to donate online

make sure you give it 'officially' though and not in a bucket in a shop. what i mean is that if you give it 'officially' then the charity can claim 'Gift Aid' which is 33% of the donation on top of the donation- a tax rebate sort of thing cos you've already paid tax on it
