I say well done France. And well done to all the protesters in London yesterday too.

DeeRiguer · 07/04/2008 12:52

and i too echo your sentiments nah

uttertripe · 07/04/2008 12:53

ooh, my dp is ranting about this olympic flame malarky on his Rlog (rant blog) i must update him...

uttertripe · 07/04/2008 12:53

your initials are nah... brilliant!

JeremyVile · 07/04/2008 12:54

I agree.
I felt so embarassed watching Connie Huq (sp?) bleating about the big bad man trying to steal her torch.
Silly mare.

needahand · 07/04/2008 12:55

Still isn't there an old tale that if the torch is extinguished the games can't happen or have to be rescheduled or I am just wishful thinking?

Whether it was on purpose or not, it is still groundbreaking news and as a result of the protests which in any event is good

Konnie Huq have you seen her chairing those London Mayoral Election debates Jeremy? It's been excruciating. She is hopeless.
Allez la France

Dropdeadfred · 07/04/2008 12:58

the flame is always alight though...the torches just carry it but the flame is kept burning in a litle case somewhere i believe

TheHonEnid · 07/04/2008 12:59

good

JeremyVile · 07/04/2008 13:01

God yeah, was talking to DP about it this morning, we both whinced the whole way through the mayoral debate. I dislike the kids to adult crossovers at the best of times but there is something particularly grating and disingenuous about KH.

southeastastra · 07/04/2008 13:16

i just saw them on the bbcnews - they look right daft on them skates. i sort of like the torch 'protector's' though they always look so worried.
