Chldren find a head washed up on beach

Not sure if this has been done but i feel so sorry for the kids that found this

There was a tiny article in last nights Evening Standard on this. I am not reading the link in case it's more in depth. .

Poor woman. Poor children. I hope the legendary resilience of youth helps them cope with making such a horrific discovery. I'd be having nightmares for years.

It doesn't say how old the children are, but old enough to be playing on the beach alone.

Oh blimey it's awful isn't it, they have found a second hand now, poor women & poor kids

This isn't far from us. I think the children are about 10yo, poor wee things. Lynette, re your question, police are enquiring as to whether the remains came in on the tide or were dumped on the beach. It's all very gruesome and so sad that someone has lost their life in a horrible manner.
