Alcohol in pregnancy guidelines changed again

Apparently it has been 'reduced' to no more than 2 units twice a week. Hasn't that what it's always been? What happened to the recent recommendations of zero?

Sounds like much the same, yes.

I heard this vaguely on the radio this morning - something along the lines of 'whilst the ideal would be no alcohol, there is no evidence that light consumption does any harm' or something like that.

i never listen to all those 'guidelines'.

they're designed by people who don't have anyone's best interests in mind but their own, IME.

they have just admitted it's because British women tend to binge drink rather than drink in moderation.
