survey on irish attitude to rape: anyone else see this?

some of the stats are shocking.but then again when i saw them advertising their "exclusive/shocking/we lift the lid on..." 3 day special on the irish publics attitudes to rape i could forsee it being sensationalised so i don't know how accurate it is.
still even if they have exagerated it is crazy to think there are so many people still with this attitude. e.g."one in three people believe a woman is either partially or fully to blame if she wears revealing clothing."

I am fairly certain that Amnesty released a survey in the UK which showed similar attitudes. I have no idea what rape/sexual assault reporting statistics are like in Eire but if they are anything like here it's no wonder, really!

Did they say anything about the sample? If they mostly interviewed retired people for instance then the results will be hugely skewed.

that's why i say i'm unsure of it's accuracy.as it's a newspaper not an independent gov. operation i'd be wary of it as it is looking to sell papers. so they could have used inflamatory/sensational language in the questions (i mean they seem to refer to "partially responsible" in the article,how did they define this to the people surveyed?) and who did they target etc. but still even if they skewed it some are disturbing.
