Donal Trump - does NOT have Presidential immunity!

According to the breaking news coming from the US and on the BBC News site, Donald Trump does not have presidential immunity and CAN be prosecuted on charges of plotting to overturn the 2020 election.

So he can be charged with sedition and with insurrection, on top of all of the other charges and cases being brought against him.

I'm just wondering at this point, who is going to cover all of his legal costs because he is flat stony broke with the recent judgements handed down (nearly half a billion dollars he has to come up with).

Don't get too excited. He hasn't exhausted appeals yet. Next stop is the Supreme Court.

The question there @LifeExperience is even if the Supreme Court will hear the case. They have a few options open to them - firstly they could support the unanimous decision made yesterday, or they could decide to hear the case but then the question is WHEN would they do that. Before or after November '24??

I have heard of the saying/curse "may you live in interesting times"....these are very interesting times. Parts of the US constitution that have never been challenged before simply because the founding fathers thought they were worded simply and without ambiguity are being challenged because of who the citizens elected as their president and his conduct while in office.

Guaranteed this wouldn't even be a thing had Hillary been elected!
