Is this a myth? Isaac Cox? It can't be true. It just can't. I see surprisingly little on this on here and on the general internet.

I mean, C'MON!!

I noted this with mirth DC

Think her other half is calledBen Cyzer

Isaac Cyzer -hmm, still not much better.

ceebee74 · 17/03/2008 13:37

There was another thread on this last week sometime but I didn't see what the answer was.

Isaac Cyzer sounds just as bad tbh

DaddyCool · 17/03/2008 13:43

No, Isaac Cyzer is much better, believe me.

I heard this on North American Radio! It's made it overseas as a "funny news clip" for other DJs.

"apparently a BBC presenter from the United Kingdom, Sara Cox has called her son.... Isaac"... Followed by waves of laughter.

Maybe he will be known as

"I Cox-Cyzer"

DaddyCool · 17/03/2008 14:03

sounds like a german baddy from some shoot-em-up movie.

I think that, traditionally, this is the point where some one posts on MN to say that, ahem, 'There is nothing wrong with Isaac Cox, and if you like the name you should just use it Hun! Children will tease and bully over anything so use should use whatever name you like!'

Yeh, right, he's never going to get teased with that name, is he?

Upwind · 17/03/2008 14:27

Even if he is known as Isaac Cyzer, people will hear "I suck Ceaser"

Carmenere · 17/03/2008 14:30

There is NO WAY that Sara Cox is unaware of how that would sound and chose to call her son that. I saw this on Popbitch and reckon it is a wind-up. Child will be called Paul or John or summat equally innocuous.

Upwind · 17/03/2008 14:32

Carmenere, I thought that but it has been widely reported

see here for instance
