Feel so sad for Japan. A country I wish I could visit. What an awful start way to start the New,Year. Hopefully there will be no casualty

I'm here, just got home from escaping to higher land. First and last time I ever expect to see a tsunami alarm on my phone

and South Korea was under warnings of tsunami on the east coast, did actually have one but 45 cm wave height.

very frightening,
there seem to have been more than one earthquake in Japan?

And now the collision at Haneda airport Sad. I went to Japan in September (not the region affected) and loved the cities, the countryside, the people, the efficiency, the community spirit - everything. I feel so sorry for them, but if any country can survive this it's Japan. They have vast experience efficient and effective reporting and emergency systems and most importantly, it's a basic tenet of society that everyone will help each other. I can't wait to go back.
