This was reported in the paper t'otrher day - I think they confirmed it was animal bones

We went to Rhodes last June and I spent a lot of time searching the faces of every little girl - when I mentioned it to a friend in Rhodes they looked relieved and said they had been doing exactly the same thing.

This was actually in the Spanish papers quite a few days ago. (DH reads them on line). They mentioned something about some clothes that had also been found, specifically socks that would have belonged to a small child. Said everything was being DNA tested. Was a bit surprised there was no mention in the UK press until now.
Not sure what to think or hope for.

There is nothing in the UK papers because the McCanns have put the frighteners on Express newspapers so no-one dares print anything now except the McCanns' spokesman's words. They didn't report that the Portugese police are re-questioning the Mccanns and their friends either, which was widely reported in the Portugese press.

I didn't know that about the Express.

What happened with the Express? (Just out of interest by the way and is in no way a comment on the Mccanns.)

Shabster,we were in Portugal for half term, my thoughts exactly. Even DD asked me if we found MC in a supermarket what would I do? She thought I would take her back to our villa and then call the Police - but she was also worried that we would be accused of taking her!
