Hyde Park War memorial demonstration

Why were these people not arrested for Breach of the Peace?

Are they above the law?

What demo? And where is the War Memorial in Hyde Park?

Or do you mean the one at Hyde Park Corner, where police have reviewed all footage and found no crime had been committed?

I'm not sure test of Breach of the Peace would be met. They weren't obstructing a highway (it was closed anyhow) and they weren't trying to interact with any other counter-protest groups in ways that would lead to confrontation.

I get that climbing on/around public statues, esp memorials is distasteful, but I'm not sure its inherently criminally wrong
