Children of Darkness and Light

Is anyone else horrified by Netanyahu's phrasing this as a war between "children or darkness" and "children of light"?

Surely this reeks of the same threads as holocaust - the pitting of a superior race/culture /people?

And isn't it just against all humanitarian ethos to keep children out of hateful rhetoric? You can criticise government's, but children?

No matter what side you are on, this is very, very worrying.

He's a crook who somehow managed to keep ruling despite having been on trial for several years (the trial is ongoing). Dined out on the reputation of his heroic brother, but along with the army has badly let down the Israeli people by failing to defend them from the genocidal arsewipes next door.

I'm not going to waste too much sympathy for how Hamas is described, however, because you look at the atrocities they committed against the defenceless Jewish women and children on Israeli soil and really there are no words bad enough. I wouldn't want to offend any cockroaches by any such comparison.

I agree with every word. We lived in Israel when he was elected the very first time and were hugely supportive of him (but as you say his reputation is built on the laurels of his heroic brother) but he turned out to be a Putin-like crook.
