BBC apologises for 'misleading' coverage of pro-Palestine protesters in UK

How does a news outlet get something like this wrong?

In a broadcast on the BBC News channel on Monday, a presenter spoke of how there had been "several demonstrations across Britain during which people voiced their backing for Hamas". This wasn’t the case.

What do you expect from the BBC?

If you check the article for the poor 6 year old boy who was murdered you can see them say Israelis were killed but Palestinians died.

Language is everything.

It absolutely was the case that demonstrators were voicing support for Hamas in my town, and I know from a friend's photos that this occurred in London too (the glider motif). So I would say from my own experience that the BBC broadcast the truth- something quite unprecedented for them, no wonder they apologised.
