I hope this is over exaggerated, otherwise it is really of great concern. Here

Just watching it now on the BBC. Very upsetting

I don't think one can really comment on this for fear of offending all those who are happy with the childcare that they really must have in order to afford to live. It is a scary world we live in and few of us actually have a 'real' choice in this.

I like this small select one

Ah, an article in the Daily Mail, which of course has no agenda of getting more women firmly back where they "belong"

There are some serious issues in there, but it is obvious and easy to work out what is going on in any nursery. Parents just have to weigh up the alternatives.

I've seen some AWFUL nurseries.
You have to weed out the good ones but a first time mum without experience might not know what to look for or ask...

msappropriate · 05/03/2008 18:31

gosh I know loads of kids that have gone to one of those nurseries.

Janni · 05/03/2008 18:32

Thanks for the reminder - I know the producer of this documentary. She's a working mum and a very honourable person.

SueBaroo · 05/03/2008 18:49

It's on the BBC, too. Which obviously has a covert agenda to get us all chained to the kitchen sink

ComeOVeneer · 05/03/2008 18:53

Lapin I did a quick look at "in the news" and didn't see anything. Should have known I wouldn't be first off the mark, unless what I am posting about is a hoax
