For the last 10 weeks.

Good for him and very sensible to tell us after the posting.

has he been dressing up as a Nazi again?

FAQ · 28/02/2008 17:21

fighting or frightening????

Good on him though for not trying to get out of it "because he's blah blah blah"

southeastastra · 28/02/2008 17:22

bet he didn't have bits of kit missing

cornsilk · 28/02/2008 17:25

He probably had an invisible force field and a sonic screwdriver.

cornsilk · 28/02/2008 17:26

Or an omnitrix like Ben 10.

OrmIrian · 28/02/2008 17:26

frighting them? Ooh the big meanie.

moodlumthehoodlum · 28/02/2008 17:26

Apparently there was a news blackout on this. Until the story was broken by an Aussie Women's Magazine

the guardian story

That'll be him coming home now then!!

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 28/02/2008 17:50

The press fecking knew.
Of course.

They just want daily mail and sun readers to reignite their support for the sorry state of affairs that we call a war.

NAB3wishesfor2008 · 28/02/2008 18:44

Did they have to ask Harry what his Mother would have thought of him serving his country? He lost his mum at such a young age and I remember him saying he wasn't afriad to die and it made me feel sad and that it was to do with losing his mum.

So much for the Americans being our friends. They gave it away that he was there!

Heard this on the newas. LOL when I heard that it was first in a womans mag in Australia!

ruty · 28/02/2008 20:35

he's still there isn't he? I rather admire him for mucking in and not getting special treatment and staying at home. Am very angry with whoever leaked it which puts not only him but those around him at increased danger.

nancy75 · 28/02/2008 20:57

i think they will get him out now that the news has broken,

Rachmumoftwo · 28/02/2008 21:05

Good for him, I say. He said he didn't want special treatment and he wanted to fight, so I'm pleased he got his chance. What a shame he will probably have to come home now because some hack couldn't keep their mouth shut.

WelliesAndPyjamas · 28/02/2008 21:12

Yes but did you see he was drinking a fruit shoot??????
here in pic 5

mrsruffallo · 28/02/2008 21:31

There is something about him I like

WendyWeber · 28/02/2008 22:20

According to the Beeb tonight it was actually a German source (not sure if print or internet) who first let it out.

Yes, the UK media knew, but they agreed to keep quiet until April so he could do a proper tour of duty without putting anyone else at risk - he really wanted to go to Iraq, but all the publicity stopped that.

He sounds like a great lad, actually, regardless of what he gets up to off duty. It's a shame this has happened.

Am I alone in not giving a flying fark whether he is there or not? FFS they should just let him get on with it if it is what he wants to do. I have heard people criticising the media for capitulating with the request not to report this, but good for them, and I wish they had continued - it is not news.

and now they have reported it they put the other people with him at greater risk
