Don't see why the gov ffeel the need to waste taxpayers money on "golden hellos" for former m/ws to return when there are loads of Newly Qualifieds who are unemployed and don't need updating.

it is a good start but I'm sure a few years back they announced this would all be in place by 2009

yeah, I'll believe it when I see ministers making hospital trusts actually employ some bloody midwives instead of telling chief execs they have to balance the books or get sacked.

I will believe it when I see it. My trust is obsessed with cost cutting, even if investing a little bit of money would save money in the long run - they can't look beyond the end of the current financial year.
