It's a boy AND a girl for pop star and actress Jennifer Lopez after she gave birth to twins in America, reports say.

J-Lo, 38, is a first-time mum, but her singer husband, Marc Anthony already has three children.

The twins were born at a New York hospital, according to magazine reports in America.

J-Lo did not confirm she was pregnant until November, when she announced the news to fans while on stage with her husband in Miami.

She's horrid. And her husband looks like a skanky pimp. At least, this ex-wife, the mother of his two sons, was clued up enough to dump him after he cheated on her with a stripper in Miami and got the gal pregnant. What a top bloke! He and J-Lo are made for each other!

They were quite big for twins - 6lbs (boy)& 5-7 (girl)

My DD1 was born in the same hospital!!!

She's a cow.

My husband's manager worked in the Balmoral Hotel when her stuck up ass was trying to stay there.

Her lengthy list of demands included staff had to be all dressed in white, had to look only at the floor even when addressed and could not speak, even among themselves, unless granted permission [rolls eyes].

She and her entourage were told to stay somewhere else.

Well, let's be fair, J-Lo's hardly likely to be looking after the kids is she now so why would she need to give any consideration to practicalities?

And another thing, do all these celebreties have fertility treatment? Reports never seem to say they do but there seems to be a high incidence of twin pregnancies. Jessica Alba (I haven't got a clue who the feck she is BTW) and Nicole Kidman are both having a set each. Do they have fertifilty treatment as a way of having "designer" babies? I notice J-Lo very conveniently got a boy and a girl .

might not be fertility treatment, the chances of having twins increases as you get older....

I've never got the impression that she is a nice person.
But congratulations to her.

I thought that she was struggling to conceive naturally and had to have fertility treatment?

Either way she has her 2 babies now safe and sound.
