I was there with yesterday lunchtime and a guy jumped (well at least it's been reported that he jumped) from one of the upper levels - really shocking.

Crikey. Wasn't there. Where did he jump from? Was it in the actual shopping centre or the car park. Horrible

Apparently the Car Park 1 level - bloody high up.

Am so glad I didn't actually see him jump though arrived literally seconds later. DH heard the thud - we were both pretty shaken up. Luckily DD's didn;t have a clue what was going on

Blimey. I end up in there most Saturdays, but not yesterday. Hope he's OK. Must have been horrible for you too.

I know someone who works at Waterstone's Piccadilly and apparently people throw themselves down their stairwell from the top floor quite regularly.

Unfortunately he died last night. So sad.

It was shocking for me but there were plently of people very close by who saw the whole thing - far worse for them.

Was back in the Glades today and it was like it had never happened - I saw one poster (A4) saying that if you had been affected by yesterdays events you could call a number and speak to a councellor

unfortunately it has happened a number of times in the centre (i used to work there) as the whole place is covered by cctv they know what has happened pretty quickly so thats why it doesnt get roped off with police tape ect Very sad though
