Nord Stream explosion US diversionary psyops?

Last month there were detailed stories from credible journalists that the US was responsible for blowing up the Nord Stream pipeline. Joe Biden even announced ahead of the fact that they were going to do it!

But now the NYT has posted a story pinning the guilt on the Ukrainians. The PM programme on BBC Radio 4 just had an interview with Frank Gardner discussing the NYT story and how “murky” it all was. But no mention at all that many credible people think the Americans did it!

AIBU to think this is an example of misinformation by the US where they try to distract attention from themselves and reset the news agenda? And it was at best very poor journalism by the BBC to have ignored Seymour Hersh.

Even when the blame is shifting towards Ukraine Russia still insists it was the west. You’d think they’d jump at the chance to blame it on Ukraine so quite telling that they still insist it was the west
