erm...not that i think for one second my 10 year old ds would take a knife anywhere,but if he did anything even slightly as serious as that i would like to think the school would phone me and tell me to get there straight away!

No, more like detain them in the headmaster's office until their parents collect them, headmaster tells parents what is going on, before the child goes home...

Why, hy why do 10 year olds want to carry a knife? In what part of society is that okay? What ever gave them the idea?

I help with some Y5 and Y6 pupils at our local Junior school, and I cannot imagine any of those boys bringing a knife into school.. Shows you never can tell
