Search teams looking for him after he went missing hiking in the mountains in California. Severe weather is hampering search teams. I think this looks really bad :-(

Saw the report this morning, trying not to think the worst but it looks pretty hopeless. I met him last year and he was so nice.

So sad. Hope he'll be found OK.

I'm sure he will be sat in a field of corn naked with the sun glinting off his blond hair.

He's been missing for nearly a week, his family must be frantic. Hope he is found soon.

I'd like to think so too, but his snow-covered car was recovered last night and there's a storm in the area hampering search efforts apparently.

He's an experienced hiker, but this is really worrying.

Still missing. His family seems to accept reluctantly that he's not coming back.

So sad, and extra tragic for the family that they don't yet know for sure. But I can't see any possibility of him being found alive.
