Stabbed in the neck in New York, has been taken to hospital. Really hope he’s ok. Can’t imagine what it’s been like living with such a threat over you for so long.

It is appalling and now J K Rowling is subject to a death threat from someone in Pakistan because she supports Rushdie's freedom of speech. The alleged attempted murder of Rushdie is in custody - Iraqi name and presumably Muslim. What kind of religion does not let live and let live and spread love? There are about 9 countries on the planet where if you change religion you are subject to the death penalty - all muslim.
