yes, i think Johnny should have just taken off that dire suit and gone naked.

saltire · 15/01/2008 15:50

expat, did you see my thread the other day about some woman stalking David Tennant? i did ask on the thread if it was you? After all you secretly like him as well

expatinscotland · 15/01/2008 15:51

he's the dry boak, saltire.

i'd rather wait in the grass to pounce on johnny, thanks muchly!

saltire · 15/01/2008 15:58

TBH the poor bloke (DT, not Mr Depp) this woman is writing Shakespearean Sci fi and has follwed him to stratford where he is going to be in Hamlet

Yummers · 15/01/2008 16:05

i had a feeling he would do something along these lines, he's such a perfect gent

and i agree that he, HBC and Tim Burton are all so wonderfully weird, and at ease with that fact. I hope they never change

Yummers · 15/01/2008 16:11

just had a second glance at that pic - has he attached a bit of pirates memorabilia to his belt ? and the suit is very duran duran.

still bloody gorgeous tho'

Twiglett · 15/01/2008 16:14

Pity mumsnet couldn't get him in for a live chat

Spidermama · 15/01/2008 16:19

Yes. No need for Vanessa to come. I'm sure she's too busy.

Yummers · 15/01/2008 16:23

Saltire -why? did they try and fail to get him in for a chat?

cottonflee · 15/01/2008 16:25

I bet you a fiver Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton's kids end up dressing really normally, geeky even.

saltire · 15/01/2008 16:27

Yummers - no, I worded it wrong - what I meant was Mumsnet should try and get him in for a live chat

RoxyMonoxide · 15/01/2008 16:29

As if we needed any more reason to think Johnny Depp was Fabulous [sigh]

I like the fact that it all happened in Nov last year, and we only hear about it now. Now that's a genuine good person.

Yummers · 15/01/2008 16:29

yes, I couldn't agree more. Right, the campaign starts here

although i think the site would be absolutely swamped and have to close temporarily...

ruty · 15/01/2008 18:02

LOL spidermama. I did how much he paid for that suit. Hpefully a lot less than he donated to GOSH....

ruty · 15/01/2008 18:03

wonder, i mean.

oooh did not know helena and tim had a new daughter

MrsGuyOfGisbourne · 15/01/2008 19:27

I loved the bit about how his family are everything to him and given him a reason for existence. And the bit about telling the kids stories dressed as Captain Jack after having the costume flown over from LA.
What a lovely bloke.

saltire · 16/01/2008 12:27

Nice picture of him on the front of this weeks Radio Times

JohnnyDeppsMrs · 16/01/2008 12:37

He's fab and he's mine so fark orf!

VeniVidiVickiQV · 16/01/2008 13:43

Oh, what a lovely story.

(Specially the bit about getting his Jack Sparrow costume flown over just for story telling )

GOSH really need the help - they dont have the rights to Peter Pan anymore.

WendyWeber · 16/01/2008 14:30

Johnny and Tim will be on Steve Wright this afternoon.

get your swoony email messages in now, girls

(I'll be at work from 4-9, so unless they're on between 3.30-4 on my drive in I will miss them )
