I did snigger somewhat when I read this, it is absurd to think of a Tombliboo with a pelvic injury!

Sad really. What did he think he was doing when he signed up to dress up like a giant puppet? It reminds me a US lawsuit years ago where 2 waitresses complained about feeling harassed at work and being made to wear skimpy, revealing costumes. THe name of the bar "Hooters", a us slang for boobs if it isn't used in the UK. Kind of like complaining about posing for playboy and then suing because they asked you to take your clothes off.

Toy guns - quite a liability. One of my most painful memories of raising kids was going abroad on holiday. My husband went out with the kids one afternoon and indulged them in the toy shop. On our return home we were completely bemused to be strip searched at the airport and given the full treatment. All because they found a BB gun in the luggage. A white Brit family! I could have played the racism card but thought better of it - having bitten my lip I had to acknowledge that public servants wherever they are have a right to stay safe / help make us safe / clear out weapons of whatever kind. And we all learnt something in the process.
