Genuinely interested in your reasons on who you voted for but especially why?

MSM and the Lib Dem winner are very much about voters sending the government a message on behalf of the whole country. Do you agree/disagree? Do you know any other conservative voters who voted L.D and their reasons.

Thanks in anticipation of those sharing.

I'm not in Shropshire so didn't vote, but have to say I am delighted at the result.

Over the moon at the result! Well done to them!

Well done Shropshire.A heartfelt thanks for every one of you, who voted Lib Dem💝

Thanks to all the N. Shropshire voters who voted or abstained in a bid to send Boris a message.

Whatever your political persuasion we need to expect better from our leaders. Constant lying should be unacceptable in any job, especially the top job!

I was at University with Helen Morgan. She was nice and very quiet, it’s brilliant to see her all over the news as the emblem of the Tories’ decline.

I think her being local was an important factor, though do recognise that it was about more than the individual candidate.

LittleBirdy1 · 17/12/2021 11:09

I am Shropshire and pleased with the result, Boris is a joke!

I hope some people from the constituency come on here.
Any comments on the poor showing of Labour anyone?
The Greens have not done well out of the last By-elections have they?
Any Green supporters have any strong feelings?

It has sent a stiff message to Boris, I am sure the 1922 Committee will be having words all round.

Find a replacement quickly, an organiser, to pull things together and then another more dynamic Leader to fight the next Gen Election.

Thanks to all those who have responded. Hopefully more responses from those in shropshire soon. I do think this almost surpasses politics in that we deserve better than this from those who are elected to govern. Do people think they will try to dismiss it with "mid term dissatisfaction, or that they will try for a shiny new leader?

Thanks to those in north shropshire for the resounding message this has sent ( sends Wine)

Labour voters were advised to vote tactically for Lib Dems to keep out the Tories.
