I sympathise with both sides. However, I do believe people like him are over the top.

Yes, type of thing that I wouldn't want next door - but it is a real shame about all the charity money that will no longer be collected by him.

it's tricky though isn't it? there's a house about half a mile from here that does similar, and tbh the whole street is disrupted by it - his display includes soldiers all the way down his driveway and in front of his garage thus meaning his car has to be parked in the street, and tourists flock there all night.

It's lovely for the kids to see but tbh I would be sympathetic if his neighbours felt the need to complain.

One like that near us too - again raises money for charity but many neighbours peed off by all the traffic, etc
