A bomb at the Women's Hospital? Being investigated under the Terrorism Act?

Such scant details so far, but bombing a Women's Hospital? What on earth?

Yes a v strange report on the BBC website, earlier. Awful.

I'm local to this and heard about it quite a few hours ago - kept hearing sirens earlier on. At some traffic lights earlier an unmarked police van with blacked out windows raced round traffic lights on the opposite side of the road. It's clearly quite a big deal.

Never thought it would happen in my city.

I can’t get my head around it either. Just seems such a strange thing to happen. They are looking into whether the timing is significant - 11am on Remembrance Sunday.

I had my babies there, so it feels quite close to home.

Arrests made. Sounds like it might have been a suicide bomber. Awful.

Yes i was surprised there wasnt more coverage an hour or so ago.

Social media chatter is saying it was a suicide bomber and the taxi driver locked them in the cab to prevent them entering the hospital. No idea if this is true or not.
