Two Canadians, Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor, are home after having spent almost three years in prison in China on trumped up charges.
They were arrested after the chief financial officer of Huawai was arrested in Canada at the request of the Americans based on an extradition treaty.
She pled guilty to American charges this week and has been released from house arrest in Vancouver.
I do not know either of the two Michaels, but it has been a big story in Canada for years. I shed a few happy tears last night for the two men and their families.
