Yes. They are Washington Football Team now, but this is only temporary. A permanent new name will be revealed early next year.

It took them long enough.

Taking them even longer to come up with something new.

I think the Cleveland Baseball team is going the same way - from 'Indians' to 'Guardians'.

"Guardians" is a dreary name... I will try and see what other names are being bounced about...

Yeah, I read it's the Washington Commanders. Very boring name for a very dodgy team.

This is keeping me in Christmas presents for dh for years to come. Actually if they could do it before next Christmas that would be great.
