US have retaliated against Islamic State in Afghanistan

news.sky.com/story/us-airstrike-targets-islamic-state-in-afghanistan-after-deadly-kabul-airport-attack-12392733 looks like there will be tit for tat attacks now, Joe Biden has said that the US "Will hunt you down & make you pay" The attack was done by drone. I really hope that this doesn't mean that we will end up like we did when troops went in Afghanistan previously & so many were killed & maimed.

The world is a terrifying place at the moment.

It’s a shit show! It’s taking me time and consideration to try and understand why Biden proceeded like he did despot intelligence given months ago about how things would turn out!!

I feel so sad for all involved.

I think the withdrawal was going exactly as intended, and that they always knew the Taliban would have control exactly when they did, but the Kabul bombing was NOT expected and threw them for a loop. ISIS K were always going to attack the Taliban, but nobody thought they’d do it so fast.

Trump knew and Biden knew that the US/the military had decided to hand the country over to the Taliban this month. I wonder if they knew how much they were going to have to support the Taliban in keeping ISIS K down though?

The drone strike killed 10 civilians. Not Isis members. 7 out of the 10 were children. One of them was only 2 years old. Made me cry.
