i couldnt imagine carrying any extra than my 9lb 1oz DD!!

I am only 5ft and 91b 4oz and a 91b 6oz were enough for me.

am laughing, my son was 8lbs born at 37 weeks, i thought that was bad! and i'm 5'3" so a veritable giant in comparison!

My ds was 12lb 4oz and that was more than enough!!

Ouch! My dd does weigh the same as him though at 6 months. She's over 22lb and wears 12-18 month clothes.

A friend of mine has recently given birth to the longest baby recorded at the hospital in which she delivered. Well over 2 feet long and weighed 12lb+.

oh bless him, and he is so gorgeous.

i hope his condition doesnt cause him too much bad health in the future.

and yes my dd2 was about the same size at 6months old. she is my little giant (she weighed 9lb at birth though)

My dd was 7lb 12oz at birth so has gained 15lb in 6 months. On breastmilk. I'm still not entirely sure how we've managed it tbh.

It's very reassuring to hear of other people having big babies at 6 months when they weren't enormous newborns btw! Get lots of raised eyebrows and questions from all over the place about 'overfeeding' her.

she isnt like that now. she is a tall skinny girl. she was tall as a baby as well, but so smoochily cuddly.

there was a 12lber in the bed next to us, very nearly twice what dd weighed in at. poor mum was very, very shocked but he was absolutely gorgeous.

He's so cute! That bump was amazing, wasn't it? No wonder she was so knackered, poor thing! She's only tiny as well. Glad to see he is thriving.
