I think it shows the ficleness and manipulation of the press

as a poster on said thread - I emailed Private Eye to see if this article was on line - its not - so if we want to read it - we'll have to buy it!

Can you imagine trying to read an article re-typed by the Cod? I wouldn't do any work at all today!

ok, the article in a nutshell shows how "un new" the slagging of liver ppol is by all in the media, particularly it quoted those who jumped on the "anti boris bandwaggon" who had said as much themselves, and in a few choice bits actually quoted them!

also a funny cartoon that shows speech bubbles coming from L pool saying "poor us why are they always slagging off us" and so on!!

BUT the most pertinents bit was a qoute form the head of liver pool council where he describes the city's main failing as benig "wingeing half empty cup culture" that annoys him.

so as P Eye concludes s you can only slag off liverpool if you are a scouser
