I was wonder that too.
Or does a journalist pose as a journalist and start a thread on purpose for a story ?

All the time. I read the DM online every other day and there is always at least one MN article.

LApprentiSorcier · 15/02/2021 17:06

They do a search for threads where the OP starts 'Fuck off Daily Mail' Grin.

Zarinea · 15/02/2021 17:15

I'm not a journalist but I work closely with them...

There is absolutely no way that journalists start MN threads to crib from for a story. All those people who say 'OP is clearly fishing for an article' are talking bollocks.

No tabloid journo has time to start bullshit threads in the hope that they might be interesting enough for a story, and why would they bother when there's so much content on here already?

Oh gosh I should have checked what I posted Confused
Does a journalist pose as a Mumsnetter?

Point well made Zarinea
