... My Mum reckons he went into hospital at the start of the week, and has heard nothing since. I have no idea if she really did see it on the news, or if she dreamt it - wouldn't be the first time. Can you enlighten me?

he had a serious road traffic accident, as a pillion passenger on a motorcycle, sustained serious head injuries. Still hanging on in there afaik
