I used to live next door to Jason and Michelle before they had Charlie, and they are a really nice couple. When we moved in, they turned up at the door with an armful of beers and our first afternoon in the house was spent sitting on the floor, drinking beer and eating chips from the chippie!!! Was nice seeing them on the news. I'm really happy for them all.

I think they are re-showing the programme tonight, presumably with an update. What a fabulous outcome, they are such great parents and two lovely little boys too.

What a lovely uplifting story. I never really understand the case against this kind of selection. I think it's amazing that the baby will grow up to know he was the person who saved his brother's life.
