YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Madeleine McCann is still missing ? and she and other missing Children need to be found. No, longer can we allow a missing child to become another statistic.

You can help this group in raising awareness to Madeleine and other missing children by giving some of your spare time to assist us with:

· E- Mailing out a pre-prepared awareness e-mail ? to as many e-mail addresses you can find within a specified country.
· Research ? Help the group identify sites on the internet to which we can easily mail.
· Actively distributing posters of the missing children.

By helping this group, you will be contributing significantly to raising awareness to the issue of child abduction throughout the world. One of your mails, might raise awareness to a missing child, and help bring them home. In return the self satisfaction that you will feel, is in-describable, you will make friends within this group, that will last a life time. You will receive all the support and encouragement that you need, to help you along your journey.

Please make contact with us through [email protected]
We thank you ? and the children thank you.

At the risk of being jumped on, I really fail to see how sending out spam emails can help to promote the cause of missing children. And yes, emails sent out to ?as many people as possible? are spam, regardless of their intention.

While the sentiment is a noble one, imo you would be better off joining an already existing organization, I?m assuming there must already be a registered charity for missing children somewhere in the UK? Because without some kind of status, you would almost certainly get no support from the companies etc you wanted to use to put up posters.

If you are intent on continuing under your own banner, then I would:

  1. look into what is involved in setting yourselves up as a proper charity. Once you have done that you will find it much easier to gain support/fundraise etc, and people will take you much more seriously if you are a registered charity rather than just some people wanting to do their bit.

  2. Get your website sorted out before you start advertising for people to help you. If you start sending out emails with pictures of missing children and people go to your site they will see that ?the site is under construction? and probably not bother ever coming back. People will not take you or your cause seriously if you haven?t actually got any proper proof of who you are/what you stand for.

I do think the plight of all missing children should be made more widely known, but I think that if you really are committed to helping then you are currently going about it in the wrong way. But that?s not to say that you can?t do what it is you want to do, you just need to think it through more carefully.
