joolstoo, i had an amnio during my 2nd pregnancy because i had a 1/30 risk of having an edwards baby, which luke has, it's such a terrible condition, and I'm sure makes everyone feel you're damned if you do, damned if you don't do x,y or z. i also know a mum who had an edwards baby who died a few days after he was born.

How terribly sad, both medically and emotionally for all concerned.

That's a 9 month old baby she's cuddling, the size of a 1 month old...

I don't think that court cases are becoming more common necessarily, IMO it's more likely that the 'second' case is more of a story because of the Charlotte Edwards case.
