What did he say?
I just saw a report on the news, but they didn't explain what he said. Obviously offensive things shouldn't be repeated, but I am curious.

He said, among other things, " slavery was not genocide otherwise there wouldn't be so many damn blacks in Africa....a lot of them survived".

He was in trouble for saying women historians were spoiling history or some such crap. He survived that no bother. He must be well into his 70s now and probably doesn’t care about all his posts disappearing - which they are after this obnoxious quote.

Hes dreadful. However the point about slavery not being a genocide is correct if going by the true definition used in education and human rights groups. What followed though....he must WANT to get sacked surely.

Very problematic person, and clearly has issues. The whole interview was interesting albeit disturbing. What he said made me feel sick plus the way the interviewer was nodding away sicophantically. There was also an odd moment when he complained about the victim culture of BLM and then went on to complain about his victim status at the hands of Cambridge University - to the point of tears. SMH

Only until the next time he expresses a vile opinion.

I'm not normally for 'cancel culture' but that was pretty overtly racist what he said! I couldn't believe it when I watched the video!

I think he's a pretty appalling person, my idea of a dinner guest from hell.

I'm glad he's getting his arse kicked, I think he was trying to be facetious but I do think he holds very sexist/racist views and I don't think he deserves to be courted by the media etc.

Hopefully he will disappear and he will be replaced by someone who isn't such a bigot (not too hard surely)
