Watching the news on BBC1....

Families torn apart and large chunks of the population sinking into poverty fast.....

What will it take?

Ah, but they are a people a long way away from us and of a different colour (to most of us)

It stinks

And mpost people in this country don't care

There was far less going on in Iraq and yet intervention occurred pretty swiftly.

Your DH's family...are they okay???

What they will take? Oil, just oil, unless somebody finds oil under Zimbawe, I doubt any of the intervening countries would do something about it

pretty much - his Dad is doing ok.....no sarky comments please - he supports Bob.......! (other than a very nice man ).

Having said that it's not easy for any of them, even the ones that are well off in good jobs are finding it pretty hard going. Most people manage to make things easier by living with other family members.

Yes, Rwanda, Sudan, Zimbabwe......

Too much....

1 or 2 meals a day is the norm, so it was quite a luxuty when we visited last year and bought food for the various family members we stayed with that allowed us all to eat 3 times a day.

Sadly, its 'safer' if you show support to RM, I think.

People are just too scared not to.

well sadly his dad is a staunch ZANU PF supporter (although I do occasionaly wonder how much of his support is due to him trying for the chieftanship......) - although most of the rest of the family can't wait to see the back of Mugabe.

Bit quieter over on this one......
