BBC Apology

I see the BBC have sneaked out an apology. The much reported head of an NHS trust asking the BBC for phone numbers of Burberry and Barbour - two companies which have become involved in making gowns - because he was concerned about supply shortages.

Turns out the person isn't the CEO of an NHS trust, nor indeed an NHS worker.

The original story was repeated on TV and Radio news bullitens yesterday. The retraction, not so much, it is on the BBC business news webpage .

You need to add they work for an organisation who's job is it to supply PPE to the NHS.

It's not like it was a crank call!

It wasn't sneaked out - I saw it on BBC TV news.
