I do. I am sooo pissed off at the patronising 'It's not the Constitution in another form you silly electorate' stance taken by Brown et al.

YEs, don't worry your pretty little heads you silly commoners. That annoys me -- and I'm not even eligible to vote. But, it strikes me as intolerably smug.

The only reason I can see to no put it to a vote is because he thinks it will fail. So he is charging forward believing his people are against it.

I want a vote for the same reasons as Callisto. Why are we 'not to be trusted'?

i think most folk are too stupid to vote on it. there iwll be a dailymail stampede to vote no without anyone really understanding. we have a democratically elected government who make decisions for us. if you don't like their decisions vote them out. i trust old gordy.

I think that when we arrive in a place that the people are too stupid to be trusted to vote for themselves, then we have lost sight of the democracy. And that is indeed a scary place. Yikes!
