Restrictions on movement

A bit unclear about the order banning 'gatherings' of more than 2 people.

Where I live, there are green spaces and woods at the end of my street, plus a couple of large parks nearby.

I have three kids and am separated, and I don't like the thought of leaving two of them alone in the house when we take walks. Does a 'gathering' apply to a family exercising together?

"we will stop all gatherings of more than two people in public – excluding people you live with;" so it's fine to take your kids together. You've all been exposed to each other anyway.
