RIP Kenny Rogers

Kenny Rogers has died, aged 81, from natural causes. I grew up hearing his songs on the radio - Lucille, Coward of the County, Islands in the Stream, and many others.

He was a great entertainer, a handsome man and he seemed like a nice person, too. RIP Kenny, and thanks for your songs.

In his final words I found an ace that I could keep..

Bye Kenny, we will miss you.

I listened to him a lot in my late 80s Country phase and have always had a soft spot for his music - superb talent. RIP.
