I think it's 2am UK time, because I'm pretty sure it's 9pm here. Does that make it 3am in Switzerland?
The feeling I get in Florida is that, while most people aren't that interested because we've had other stuff to think about recently, Bush seems to be favored. I'm worried that he's going to win a 2nd term. I think Kerry really has to do something good to stand a chance. And of course Bush has such low expectations for the debates that Kerry is expected to kick his a$$, so Bush can't lose.
In the US peopole don't really understand why Bush is so hated around the rest of the world. I was talking about this with my neighbor yesterday. Even my mum, who has always voted Conservative, thinks Bush is an idiot, and would prefer to see a Democratic president.
I just wish the Democratic party had picked a better candidate. Too many swing voters don't think anything of him. Personally, if I was allowed to vote, I would vote for Kerry anyway, because the basic republican vs. democrat issues are the most important (freedom of choice, gun control etc.) to me. But there are an awful lot of people who will vote depending on whether they personally like the candidate himself. People don't think much of Kerry but Bush is seen as a strong leader.
